4/5 stars- used on cherry and cedar hope chest i made for my daughter. Had to use a coned grinding tool attached to air-compressor on interior corners to remove bumps etc.. Also heated corners with a torch to bend in area where last two holes are located, they are not forged perfectly square and due flare away (up to 1/8") from workpiece . Not to say you cant use them the way they are if you can except those tolerances on your project. made in india!
5 Stars excellent product

The Brass Corners were gorgeous, but they are very thick. I think they would be fine for building into a new chest, but as a replacements for thin brass corners that had deteriorated, they did not fit at all.

I purchased two corners using them on my white homemade door headboard. Really looks great over the trim.

I purchased the trunk corner to put on a piece of luggage I was making. Most trunk corners on the market today are either brass plated steel or too small for what I was looking for. This is neither of those. Each corner weighs in at almost half a pound and the quality is evident the moment you pick one up. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because the inside of the corner isn't very well finished. I had to file down lumps of brass and true it up on the inside before it layed perfectly flat on the corner. Well worth the effort though, as these will outlast whatever you attach them to.
