3 Stars A few things to consider

These hinges are very beautiful and reasonably priced. However, out of 8 hinges I ordered, 1 was bent and not usable. These hinges are thicker than my existing ones and required gouging out the wood behind the hinge and/or shaving down the edge of the door to make it close properly. Also, do not assume the screws will like up with the existing holes, as mine did not and had to be filled in and re-drilled.
4 Stars Victorian Door Hinges.

We have replaced 8 doors in our house. 3 hinges each. 1 more bedroom door to go (next remodel) with these Victorian door hinges. They are very beautiful & reliable. Occasionally the threaded ornamental finial nuts work loose from the hinge pin and need to be snugged up. I just hand tighten them so as not to damage the brass coating by using tools. The Hinges are strong, very pretty and reliable.
