I am restoring a fireplace mantel and having book shelves built around it, in my century home. The mantel has egg and dart trim on it and we wanted to replicate it on the book shelves but without having it custom made. I called and searched everywhere for the right look and size and came up empty until I found Van Dyke's website. I emailed a question, it was promptly answered. I ordered 6 lengths. They came in about a week and my carpenter was overjoyed. The design and size is so close to the antique trim! If the "eggs" had been a little more pointed at the bottom it would have been exact. This embossed trim has the nicest "carved" look that we have seen in our searching. We are very pleased. Thank you for shipping to Canada!
