Hand forged and cast in solid iron or bronze, these rustic door sets lend instant period authenticity to any door. We guarantee these handle sets will look like they've been around a century or more! Sets include 2 back plates, 2 levers, and 1 spindle. Set can be used as left or right hand function. View Backset Template.

  • Rust- Raw iron that has been oxidized. This finish will continue to rust over time and will rub off. This finish can be preserved by sealing with furniture wax or a clear coat sealant.
  • Black Powder Coat-A baked-on finish that is virtually maintenance free. This finish is more shiny than Oil Blackened and is permanent.
  • Oil Blackened-Raw iron coated with oil. The oil will wear and expose the iron beneath which will rust. Left as is, this finish will erode, or rub off. This can be prevented by sealing with furniture wax or a clear coat sealant.
  • Weather Bronze-Solid cast bronze. Bronze will continue to age and patina over time. No two pieces will ever look identical.
  • Will not work on a standard 2 1/8" pre-bored door

I like the product and it looks nice! However, there are different ways that a spindle fits into the backset! It would be nice to know if the spindle goes on square, diamond, or looks like a star! Then you wouldn't waste your money buying the door knobs and mortise locks that are not compatable!!!
