This handy lid hinge is the ideal choice for toy boxes, cedar chests, etc. to prevent lids from slamming shut in an uncontrolled manner. This unique design holds lids securely in an infinite number of intermediate locations. It conveniently rear mounts and uses advanced spring plunger technology for use in both horizontal and vertical applications. Designed especially for lids 19" to 26" long weighing under 9 lbs. Use additional supports for heavier lids.
