True hand wrought, hand hammered black iron hardware! Crafted by hand just as it was when blacksmiths were depended upon in colonial America. Please note that wrought iron will rust over time. Although this enhances the hardware charecter, you may want to protect from excessive rust. This thumblatch includes back latch and wrought iron pins for installation.
