Millwork is constructed primarily from select basswood, a New England hardwood preferred by craftsmen for it's ability to readily accept both paint and stain. To achieve authentical Victorian Millwork, each piece is handtraced, cut on a scroll or band saw, sanded, then secured to frames with nail and glue.
