These 7 1/2 Inch Embossed Leaf with Bead Appliques are the perfect accent piece for any room. Heat embossed appliques are made of multi-layered high-quality pressed woods. These beautifully intricate appliques are produced using the same molds and techniques as appliques a century ago. They are created using high heat and extreme pressure which may cause some recessed areas to stain darker than the rest of the applique.

I have never worked with appliques, I'm glad I added to my project. I refinished an old English desk and the original applique had broken off in several places. I added this applique and it gave the desk a great look. The applique itself has really great detail.
