I am the city electrician for the city of Newburyport, MA. I am in the process of retrofitting the downtown lighting to LED. They are decorative imitation gas lanterns. I am putting a filament LED lamp, low wattage, with the glass chimney at the base of the fixture. I am putting a 35 watt LED in the hood with reflectors that direct the light down to the sidewalk. They look beautiful and the lighting is terrific at night. I am so glad that I have found a source for the clear glass chimneys. I will probably need about 280 more of them. I will no doubt be buying other general fixture parts as well.
