This 8-inch flat Swivlon bar stool swivel is ideal for repairing an old stool or for a new project. The swivel is unique in that no steel balls that can rust or fall out are used. The swivel uses high tech polymer rings that have a true 360 degree contact of the two surfaces of the bearing as they turn against each other. There is no steel against steel or nylon against steel movement. The swivel has a flat pitch and a 500 lb rating.

heavy duty bearing

The bearing is working the way it should. Not like some other bearings I have bough and they they did not do the job. I would not waste my time with any other make. Great bearings!

I replaced a swivel on a bar stool that had an auto return. This one is solid and works well. I had to return one of the two I bought as there is no tilt on the swivel. The process to return was easy and very fair.
