Beautiful lampshade. Van Dyke's was prompt in shipping, excellent packaging
Exacly what I wanted and fits my lamp perfectly. I am well satisfied with my purchase.
My mom had an old floor lamp in her basement but the globe had broken years ago. She could not find a replacement locally so it sat unused. When she moved, I took the lamp and went online to search for a replacement globe. I found this one online and ordered it. It arrived in 2 days and is the perfect complement to the lamp. I'm glad to be able to use it now in my home.
I bought them because I broke one of the globes to my milkglass lamps. They new ones are pretty and fit in with the period style of the lamp. They weren't exactly what I wanted as the lamp base is sort of a "wheat sheaf tied with a big bow" design. That is as close as I can get in describing it. The base is "seamless", the globe shows 4 seams. But the 2 pieces look good together. I am happy that my milkglass lamps now have matching globes.
