Description
Restorers 90 Degree Fleur-de-Lis Trunk Strap
Restorers 90 Degree Trunk Strap is not only decorative with its feur-de-lis design, but adds stability to any box or chest. The finish will appear to be part of the original hardware on restored pieces, or give the antiqued appearance to your new creations. 4" and 5 1/2" sizes.
- Oil Blackened is raw iron coated with oil. The oil will wear and expose the iron beneath, which will rust. Left as is, this finish will erode, or rub off. This can be prevented by sealing with furniture wax or a clear coat sealant.
- Rust is a raw iron that has been oxidized. This finish will continue to rust over time and will rub off. This finish can be preserved by sealing with furniture wax or a clear coat sealant.

Worked perfectly for my project. Added the extra touch to complete and set it apart from anything else!
Worked very well for my project. I used four straps on my "butcher block" make over. since it the had a rust finish, I rubbed it off and used verdigris then varnished it. Also, I used your decorative tacks instead of screws . Many compliments on my whimsical kitchen block.
I'm very pleased with the trunk straps. I have a trunk that is over a hundred years old and these straps look like they were part of the original trunk. I also used these in the past for a garden box. It gave it a country look.
i liked that it was thin because i was able to straighten it and then shape it to the round treasure chest that i built for my son. just a little touch up paint and it was mint.. very happy
Price was good, metal was thin.
