Our Heritage
In 1949, returning WWII veteran Bert Van Dyke started a supply company in his basement, offering quality taxidermy supplies to amateur and professional taxidermists.
Years later, Mr. Van Dyke's daughter saw an opportunity while restoring an antique piece of furniture. She realized how difficult it was to find the right vintage-style hardware, and Van Dyke's Restorers was born.
By 1984, the company had shifted its focus to antique furniture and vintage home restoration supplies, specializing in unusual and hard-to-find pieces.
