Restorers Iron Shelf Bracket with Fleur-de-Lis

I was excited to receive the Restorers Iron Shelf Bracket with Fleur-de-Lis because I loved the design shown in the photos. The iron itself is sturdy, well-made, and the Fleur-de-Lis detail is attractive. However, I was very disappointed when it arrived because the color looked nothing like the product photos. The photos show what appears to be a rustic brown finish, but the bracket I received was a solid black color. Had the product looked even somewhat similar to the photos, I likely would have kept it, but the difference was significant. When I contacted customer service, I was told that product photos can sometimes vary from the actual item. While I understand minor differences can occur, this was not a slight variation—it was a completely different appearance. I was also informed that I could return the item, but I would be charged an 18% restocking fee. I feel disappointed that the product was not accurately represented online and that I would have to pay a fee to return an item that did not match the advertised photos. The quality of the iron and craftsmanship seem good, but buyers should be aware that the finish may be very different from what is shown.

Well made, fast shipping, looks great

So little money for such high quality. They warn you that they are hand made and vary slightly---I found this to be true when trying to use one for the hole pattern for mounting six brackets. They look great.

When one of these pretty cast brackets arrived broken, a replacement set was quickly sent without charge and without my having to send back the broken one. I appreciate that.
