Restorers Cast Brass Keyhole Escutcheon

I have a number of pieces of antique furniture. Some little pieces I have left undone because I didn’t think I could find replacements. This piece will need a little assistance, but it will really finish my China cabinet nicely. Love it!

As this was a retrofit for a lost key escutcheon, I had to guess about the dimensions. It took a bit of careful work with the dremel to open the hole a bit and to shorten the key escutcheon. I should mention that this item is not cast brass but a plated pot metal. It looks just fine and only I will know it isn't really brass.

I couldn't find these anywhere. This was perfect for my small hanging corner cupboard. Looks great and no one knows but me that it is not original.

I was refinishing a very old drawer chest and one of the old key hole was missing so I ordered these and the worked great and made the piece look more classy
