Designs of Distinction 3/4 Inch Shallow Double Bead Tambour Panels allow you to create a modern look and unique texture. Flexible backing allows the Tambour to bend around curves and corners, creating a seamless design. Our Wood Tambour Panels are easy to install and paint or stain to match your designs. Since our Tambour is real wood, the material must be stretched prior to painting, staining, or coating. The material must be acclimated for a minimum of 48 hours prior to finishing.

  • Finely crafted in the USA from North American hardwoods. Sanded, ready to finish with stain or paint. Prior to finishing, material must be stretched and acclimated for a minimum of 48 hours.
  • Flexible backing allows tambour to bend around curves and corners for a seamless design.
  • Panels are typically glued up with a standard paneling/construction adhesive onto a solid substrate. Thicker profiles should additionally be held with finishing nails or braced in place until the glue cures.
  • Natural color and grain variation add to the depth and texture of the tambour, and should be expected in all pieces.
