The latch has a wonderful appearance and complements my Eastlake antique cabinet!! The coloring and design were great. However like most brass made in India it is thick and more on the crude side, thus less exact. A less detailed person may not notice. On the piece I received, the latch side was not as thick as the turnkey side. Fortunately, the opening on the latch was large enough to compensate and the latch fit and held the cabinet doors shut! I’m thankful Van Dukes is still able to carry a selection of parts for restoring antique pieces. It’s getting harder to find them all the time. Thanks!!
