Idh by St. Simons Knob to Lever Screen Door Latch with Round Plates


This Knob To Lever Screen Door Latch With Round Plates is designed for use on doors from 7/8" to 1 5/8" thick with a 1 3/4" backset. Special locking mechanism may be used on either the lever or knob side of the door. Rosettes measure 1 3/4" diameter and set requires 1 7/8" clearance from inside door. Mounting hardware and matching strike plate are included. Choice of six finishes.

We needed a new lever to replace the broken one from our 55 year old wrought iron storm door. Very helpful customer service personnel helped with measuring (square 9/32" spindle, 20 threads per inch) and decide that the lever with this set would be a likely fit. Got it today (fast shipping too!!) and it was a perfect fit! Yeah!!!!! Thank you for great products and great customer service.

Beautiful hardware, but...

I bought this because of its vintage look for our 1912 Craftsman home's screen door and while it looked beautiful, the knob just spins around freely and you have to push it hard to get the mechanism to turn. The funny thing is that I'm not the only one who's experienced this. A neighbor who bought the same product is having the same issues. Has anyone else had this same issue?
