    I purchased these knobs for an addition on our 1850's house. They cannot be told from the originals, except for the upgraded allen head set screw. The doors that I made are 1 1/8" thick to match the originals in the house. The supplied spindle can easily be cut down with a hack saw, or order a different size as another review noted.

    Nice product, but beware the spindle.

    The knobs and rosettes are very nice. But the included spindle is 4.5" long, which is way too long for a standard 1 3/8" door. I had to buy standard 3.5" spindles separately. So -- if you buy this, and you have standard doors, be prepared to buy spindles as well.
