Robust hangers come with cheap screws

We got these to hang custom-made wood storm windows for a 1928 house, and they look great! The hangers are beautiful, sturdy and I feel confident, now, in their build to hold even the largest sash and double-pane window we installed over 50 lbs. This spring the hanger finish is the same impeccable, black as when installed last autumn. The screws that came with on the other hand have rusted after one winter. As we complete the 15 window installation we should source and replace the screws with a more suitably finished screw. The size of screw should also be increased. I would like to see VDRs combine a more appropriate, outdoor screw with this otherwise excellent hanger, or cut the price and announce they ship without screws. The screws shipped are designed for indoor cabinetry not outdoor windows.
