We carry the hard to find products for chair caning like this 1/2" Mesh Pre-Woven Rattan Cane - 18" Or 24" Wide material. Pre-Woven rattan cane webbing is used when a groove surrounds the caned area for re-seating cane chairs. Rattan caning can also be used on cabinet doors. On projects where holes are drilled around the outside edges of the area to be caned, unwoven rattan chair cane must be used. Pre-woven rattan cane mesh is held in place in the groove by spline and glue. Both machine pre-woven rattan cane webbing and unwoven rattan chair cane are made from the same material. Allow one inch overlap of woven rattan cane, measuring outside of groove from side to side at widest point.
