Rusty. Really.

If you want something with an authentic patina, these are perfect. They are truly rusty. You can actually change the patina by rubbing them with a rough cloth or some dishsoap to reveal a bit of the original black. I also love that the screws they send with the bin pull are flat head (very authentic to the time period). We have a 1910 pie cabinet and the hardware matches exactly.

I bought the weathered bronze and they definitely look genuine. They were perfect on the serving trays which were handcrafted from a very old oak dining table.

the real thing

these are really rusty, not just painted to look like rust. it's hard to find something like this. project turned out great.
