Help remove hot stagnant air from your attic with this 18-Inch Vertical Rectangular Urethane Decorative Gable Vent. Gable vents are particularly useful during the summer months when hot air rises and is trapped in the attic. The hot air can transfer itself down through the ceiling and back into the house. Install the gable vent on the exterior wall where the two planes of a sloping roof join forming a triangle. This rectangular vent is fitted with louvers that help direct the air out of the attic. You can also add a mesh screen behind the vent allowing air to circulate while keeping insects out. Made of durable polyurethane and primed white.
