Add a pretty design element above windows and doors with this Restorers Architectural 72" Elliptical Sunburst Urethane Pediment. Pediments are the portion of the trim that is located above the pilasters. A crosshead or breast board is between the pediment and the pilasters. The crosshead is the flatter, protruding section directly above the door. Pediments can be purchased by themselves or can come with a crosshead already attached. These Pediments are manufactured out of a high-density urethane, which is made to resemble wood without the maintenance required by wood products. Urethane is resistant to cracking, splitting and rotting. They are usually less expensive than wood alternatives.
