Reeeally made with great quality material. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because there are no instructions. It took awhile to figure out. But works great, looks great, and hands-down beats any of the latch sets at the major home improvement stores.

Great looking/no instructions

This is a nice heavy latch with a great look. We installed it easily enough, but it won't click closed with a swing, you have to use the thumb latch to close it. Could be an installation issue, but without instructions, that's the chance you take. Very attractive!

I am very pleased with this latch. It looks authentic, and has a nice feel to the handle. It doesn't come with instructions, but it's easy enough to figure out what goes where. The price for this quality product is amazing. I'll be using it on a new cedar gate.

Seems relatively well made. But, comes without instruction and really just barely works since my gate is about 3" thick. Probably shouldn't be used on anything over 2 1/4" thick. They should advertize the use parameters for folks who have more substantial gates. LIke others, I figured it out via Google.
