Restorers Solid Brass Pipe Cover

These are nice solid brass pipe covers for radiators. They are also the only traditionally styled solid brass radiator pipe covers I've been able to locate. I had to knock one star off the rating because the "nickel" versions are apparently chrome. A subtle difference, but not the same. The good news is that a plating company can strip the chrome off the nickel underplate for a few dollars, leaving a nickel finish. They aren't quite the design and manufacturing quality of 100 year old covers, but then what in this era is? And these are brass, whereas the originals were usually iron, so in that respect the quality is better. If you have radiators and you want a finished look, these are a great product and well worth the price.
