Used for hats and coats hung inside a closet. Worked as wanted and are excellent in appearance

Cast iron

Bought these for a coat rack redo. Price was good as was the size and overall look but two of them had bent bottom hooks. I was able to straighten the first one by gently tapping on it in my vise but wasn't as lucky with the second and it snapped. That's when I realized they were cast iron not cast steel. I had to order a replacement ( 2 to be on the safe side) . I wire brushed them and coated in a linseed oil/ beeswax mixture and they look great.
