This tub leg set is made of solid brass. Cast iron tub legs are specifically designed to support cast iron tubs. A cast iron tub typically weighs between 400 - 450 pounds and can generally hold a maximum weight of around 750 pounds (including fully filled water and the user). Based on tests and experience, this tub support performs well under these conditions.

The platform measures 28" x 14 1/2" where the tub sits. The set includes four steel straps (1" x 1/8") and eight bolts. These components are designed to flex to the shape of the tub, allowing the legs to conform to most existing tub shapes and fit the contour of the tub. It is important to note that if the straps do not match the exact dimensions of the tub, additional holes can be drilled in the strapping or legs to achieve a proper fit.
