What Makes the Quiet Glide Library Ladder Different?
Quiet Glide uses a solid aluminum rail, not hollow tube, and upper roller guides with thermoplastic wheels for smooth, quiet movement. Every part is machined or manufactured by American craftsmen.
Hardware kits come in black, oil-rubbed bronze, and satin nickel, with your choice of upper guide and ladder wheel styles.
Which Quiet Glide Kit Is Right for Your Project?
Quiet Glide is sold three ways, so start with what you already have.
- Complete ladder and hardware kits: everything in one box, including the wooden ladder kit, hardware, rail, and brackets. Choose oak or maple, in 8-foot or 12-foot rail lengths.
- Ladder kits: sanded, unassembled wood parts ready to finish. Choose cherry, oak, or maple. Hardware is not included. Prefinished painted black and white ladders are also available.
- Hardware kits: choose a version with a brake on the lower wheels or without a brake. The aluminum rail and mounting brackets are sold separately.
