9 1/2 Inch Bean End Plain Leather Trunk Handle

This was almost a perfect match for the handle on my Dad's WWII Navy Footlocker. More than once I considered an old belt or piece of rope. The measurements were complete and very useful in the selection process. I am not a craftsman or really very handy but I managed to learn how to remove rivets and replace the handle. I took pictures during the repair to share with the family. While the handle ends don't match the old one exactly, no one will know and it looks great. I see no reason that it should not last 80 years like the one it replaced. A good price and fast delivery. Thanks Van Dyke.

These leather handles I bought were just right for the antique trunk that use to be covered in leather but was ruined with lots of moisture from a broken furnace pipe. The old ruined leather was removed, the trunk was sanded and stained and looked great,but missing the handles. These were the perfect size and color.
